Peanut Butter, Chocolate, Oatmeal Bars


Have you ever participated in the recipe exchange email thingy?? Well, if you haven't you should. It's lots of fun and you can end up getting lots of yummy recipes. This was one of the recipes I received the last time I played. It was too easy to not try. Boy are these YUMMY!! Not low in fat at ALL!!!! but yummy!!!!

1 stick of butter
2 cups of sugar
3 Tablespoons cocoa
1/2 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 cup peanut butter
3 cups of oats
Place wax paper on counter.Have all ingredients measured out.Melt butter in skillet low heat.Add sugar mix well,add cocoa and stir.Add milk and vanilla.Stir and let boil.When entire skillet boils, time for 1 minute.Remove from heat add peanut butter and oats.Drop by tablespoons on to paper.

    Do we heat it in the oven or cool it in the fridge...I'm confused =P

  2. These are no bake oatmeal squares I am pretty sure. You can put them in the fridge if you want or leave them out and eat them. According to if you want them more soft (left out) or harder consistency (fridge).
