Cream Cheese Pasta



What is there NOT to like if it has cream cheese in it..right?? I heard someone talking about adding cream cheese to spaghetti sauce for a more creamy sauce. I had never tried it before so decided I would. It was really good. The only thing I would have done differently is use less pasta.

Ingredients:
Penne Pasta (about 4 cups cooked)
spaghetti sauce ( 1 jar)
mozzarella cheese - about 1/2 cup
panko bread crumbs - about 1/2 cup
cream cheese - 1/2 cup
1 lb turkey (ground) - or you could use hamburger
1/2 onion chopped
1 bell pepper chopped (any color)
parmesan cheese


Directions:
Saute the onions and bell pepper for about 4-5 minutes...then add turkey...cook over medium high heat until done. Add spaghetti sauce and cream cheese...stir until creamy...add salt and pepper if needed for taste. Cook noodles until almost done. Mix noodles and sauce together in a baking dish....cover and bake for about 15 min. Take cover off and sprinkle parmesan, mozzarella and bread crumbs on top of pasta...broil for about 3 minutes. Enjoy!
